The Episode IX of the saga, directed by J.J. Abrams arrives on the streaming platform coinciding with Star Wars Day.

If you are a fan of Star Wars you will love to know that Episode IX of the franchise, created by George Lucas in 1977, will be available on Disney + from next May 4. The choice of this date for the launch of Star Wars: Skywalker's rise on the platform was not accidental. Like every year, this is the date on which Star Wars Day is celebrated worldwide. And what better way to celebrate it than to enjoy again, or for the first time, the epic outcome of the last trilogy. Or why not, take advantage of these days of quarantine to do a marathon of the nine feature films of the galactic saga.

But this is not the only surprise that the Mickey Mouse House streaming platform had prepared for us to pay tribute to Star Wars on its big day. The final chapter of Star Wars: The Clone Wars and the documentary series Disney Gallery: Star Wars: The Mandalorian are two of the contents that arrive at Disney + next Monday, May 4. Three days before, on May 1, the premiere of the final episode of the first season of the original fiction The Mandalorian will take place, whose action takes place years after the fall of the Empire.

As if that were not enough, throughout the next week, the platform will pay its special tribute to the saga with a gallery of its original designs from each of the films, including the creations of the legendary Ralph McQuarrie and Oscar winner Doug Chiang. The Star Wars logo that appears at the top of Disney + will be a tribute to the famous hyperspace jump in the saga.
