Phase 4 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe will come later than planned due to the coronavirus.

Due to the coronavirus, many releases, both moviegoers and series fans have been affected either by having to stop filming or by having to start it much later than planned. However, Sony and Marvel have announced new release dates for several of their movies.

The sequel to Spider-Man: Homecoming has been delayed from July 16, 2020, to November 5, 2021. Spider-Man: A New Universe 2 has only been delayed for a few months: April 8, 2022, to October 7 of the same year. On the other hand, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness will finally premiere on March 25, 2022, instead of on November 5, 2021.




And finally, Taika Waititi's Thor: Love and Thunder have only been delayed a few days: from February 11, 2022, to February 18 of the same year. Another of the films that have been affected by the coronavirus has been Uncharted with Tom Holland, which will finally be released on October 8, 2021, instead of 16 in the same year.

It remains to be seen how this change will affect the Marvel series that Disney + plans to release since both WandaVision and The Falcon and The Winter Soldier will be directly connected to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
