The Marvel Cinematic Universe movie, directed by brothers Joe and Anthony Russo, was released a year ago in theaters.
In April 2018, thousands of people came out of the movie theaters watching their heroes and heroines lose a battle with fatal consequences. Thanos (Josh Brolin) fulfilled his goal in Avengers: Infinity War by taking over the Infinity Stones, snapping his fingers, and eliminating 50% of all living things. Fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe had to wait a year to discover how the characters in the franchise defeated Titan and restored normality to the world. Even with significant sacrifices in between. Avengers: Endgame hit theaters on April 25, 2019. The movie, directed by Joe and Anthony Russo, is celebrating its one year anniversary. To celebrate, SesanCine wanted to remember the film and highlight, in a video that you will find below, the 20 things Endgame taught us.
One of the main ones is that friendship can with old quarrels. Civil War broke the relationship between Steve Rogers / Captain America (Chris Evans) and Tony Stark / Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.), but when it comes to saving the world, the consequences of the Sokovia Accords may be forgotten. We also learned that tough guys have hearts. And if not, tell Clint Barton / Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner) when he had to face the disappearance of his entire family because of Thanos. Of course, Thor (Chris Hemsworth) showed us that you cannot always be in shape and that, despite having a beer belly, we are still worthy bearers of the Mjölnir. The god of thunder also made us value the love of our mothers because, like Frigga (Rene Russo), no one will love you like them.

One of the most emotional moments was the sacrifice of Natasha Romanoff / Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) in Vormir to get the Soul Stone. What teaching do we draw from their destiny? That, even if it costs us, we have to learn to say goodbye. Also, good friends will get you out of any trouble. If you don't believe it, watch how all the disappeared returned and immediately went to the aid of Captain America, Iron Man, and Thor when it seemed that everything was lost.
Nor should you be melancholic. As usual in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, there is also room for humor. Avengers: Endgame taught us not to be short of Pym Particles, that studs are the new shawarma, that no one is perfect in terms of leagues and that America's ass is ... Well, that: Captain America.
Whatever happens, remember two things: True love, like that of Steve Rogers and Peggy Carter (Hayley Atwell) always triumphs and that, if you are going to sacrifice yourself for all of humanity, your last words must be iconic: “I am Hombre de Hierro".
