Already in "Thor 3" the stone creature Korg has stolen so many scenes. Consequently, the loveable alien is now to get even more screen time after a mini-appearance in "Avengers 4: Endgame" in "Thor 4: Love And Thunder".

In the gag fireworks that director Taika Waititi fired in the cosmic MCU adventure "Thor 3: Ragnarok" stung the stony proverb Korg and his little insect friend Miek, the title-hero (Chris Hemsworth) in the gladiatorial arena of Sakaar, probably for many once again separately as humoristic highlights. It was all the more gratifying, then, when we learned in "Avengers 4: Endgame" that the good-natured duo did not lose his life in Thanos' attack on the survivors of Asgard and the later Todesschnipser, but with the depressive Thor in a WG in New Asgard lives. His biggest performance to date Korg but now in "Thor 4: Love And Thunder" get.

BIG PLANS FOR KORG AND MIEK

The fact that Korg in "Thor 4" not only to return but also play a more important role in it, the colleagues on the website HN Entertainment have learned from unspecified sources. Officially carved in stone, the information is therefore not a long way, but it would be conceivable not only because of his position as a fan favorite anyway.

Marvel boss Kevin Feige has already revealed after "Thor 3" that they intend to do a lot more with Korg and Miek in the future. Also, "Ragnarok" director Taika Waititi takes over the production again on "Thor 4" and so the actor of the stone being would be present on the set anyway, Waititi even breathed life into it with his voice and motion capture.

STILL ENOUGH PLACE FOR KORG?

A challenge should be, however, to accommodate a higher number of Korg scenes in content in "Thor 4", Waititi has planned for his sequel but also quite a lot. On the one hand, we need to know what happens to Thor himself as he sets out into space at the end of "Avengers 4" with the Guardians Of The Galaxy (who may also appear in "Love And Thunder") on the other hand, there will also be Natalie Portman's big comeback as Thor's ex-girlfriend Jane Foster, who becomes a female Thor in the film.

And then there's also Valkyrie (Tessa Thompson), who started Thor's succession at the head of Neu-Asgard and wants to find a suitable queen as a newly-minted ruler. Perhaps Korg will most likely get the opportunity to shine in Valkyrie's storyline, after all, he is one of the residents of New Asgard and will certainly be loyal to Valkyrie after Thor.

We have certainty at the latest on October 28, 2021, when "Thor: Love And Thunder" starts in theaters.
