For the second season of his comic adaptation "The Boys" series creator Eric Kripke has already promised that it could go even bloodier. With a first photo from the set of the Amazon, series is now clearly underlined.

Amazon has just announced that the new series production "The Boys" even exceeded the high expectations of the provider and has become one of the most-watched originals in the streaming service Amazon Prime Video. Of course, this does not make much sense without concrete figures or corresponding comparative values, but the fact is that the interest in the bloody comic adaptation is definitely great.

The already decided before the series launch extension to a second season, you will not regret at Amazon anyway. And to fuel the anticipation of the sequel already so slowly, series creator Eric Kripke has published via Twitter now a first picture of the filming that has already been going on for a few weeks:

Habited Bloody

The photo shows Kripke himself and his actors Tomer Capon (Frenchie), Karen Fukuhara (Kimiko), Jack Quaid (Hughie) and Laz Alonso (Mother's Milk) in the usual "The Boys" -man: with the raised middle finger and different strong with Bloodstained. From whom the blood comes, especially Hughie and M.M. grace, but remains unclear. However, Kripke promised that they would not be stingy in the second season of the anti-superhero series, as he explained that after working on season one, they have become even better at it, the blood and the brutality to put in the right way.

However, Boys' leader Billy Butcher (Karl Urban) is absent in the picture above, which may not be surprising considering the events at the end of the first season. As the Boys' fight against corrupt superheroes continues - aside from the usual bloodshed - we'll probably hear about them in the summer of 2020.
