The protagonist of the saga 'John Wick' has had conversations with Marvel Studios for future collaboration between both parties.
Marvel Studios was the great protagonist of the last Comic-Con of San Diego to announce all the titles of its Phase 4. This will last two years (2020 and 2021) and not the four that covered Phase 3 (2016 - 2019) and will begin with Black Widow (May 1, 2020). Then we will see the Falcon and the Winter Soldier (Disney + .- Fall 2020), Eternals (November 6, 2020), Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings (February 12, 2021), WandaVision (Disney + .- Spring 2021), Loki (Disney + .- Spring 2021), Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness (May 7, 2021), the animated series What If ...? (Disney + .- Summer 2021), Hawkeye (Disney + .- Fall 2021) and Thor: Love and Thunder (November 5, 2021). Although President Kevin Feige has admitted talks with Keanu Reeves (John Wick) for him to enter the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), neither the company nor the actor has come up with the ideal role. The Russo brothers have spoken on the subject.
In a talk between Kevin Smith (Jay and Silent Bob), Joe Russo and Anthony Russo (Avengers: Infinity War, Avengers: Endgame) during IMDb coverage at Comic-Con, the filmmaker duo has commented on the role that could embody Keanu Reeves within the MCU. "That's a good question," Anthony acknowledged. "I don't know," Joe added. "It's unlimited, isn't it? What would you put it on?" "Moon Knight," said Smith. "Sure, that's a good option," Joe replied.
Maybe Moon Knight is the ideal character for Reeves. Born in Chicago, Marc Spector is a marine, boxer, mercenary, acrobat, qualified gymnast and then a millionaire who becomes the earthly reincarnation of the Egyptian moon god Khonshu. Its strength, endurance, and reflexes increase depending on the phases of the satellite and its abilities - close combat, use of devices such as darts, balls, a boomerang ... - reminiscent of Batman. A movie? A series for the streaming platform Disney +? Maybe a Marvel character who is more distant from John Wick?
