Director Paul W.S. Anderson and actress Milla Jovovich reopen the monster hunt after the "Resident Evil" series. The last time the cinema was released was postponed until April 2021, but the first mini-trailer now talks about December 2020!
After we once speculated that "Monster Hunter" might even be seen in 2019, the film's US cinema release was finally set for September 4, 2020. Corona-related, however, became nothing, so the video game filming was last postponed until next spring – with a new US launch date on April 23, 2021.
In the first teaser trailer for "Monster Hunter" the next December is given as the start date!

However, there are no further details or an exact date for where and when the film will be released this year – the Indian distributor Constantin Film still lists the fantasy actioner without a start date.

MILLA JOVOVICH & TONY JAA VS. RIESENVIECHER
The screen adaptation of the video game hit of the same name accompanies Artemis, the leader of a military unit (Milla Jovovich) and her team as the troupe is transported by an unexpected sandstorm into an alien world in which gigantic monsters are doing their mischief.
However, their firearms can't do the dangers – and so it's quite convenient that they meet the mysterious Hunter (Tony Jaa). As a member of the team of the so-called General (Ron Perlman), he knows exactly how to survive in the world of giant cattle – and what it takes to stand up to the monsters.
The creators promised big monster action in advance, which "looks even better than in 'Jurassic World'". Since then we are eagerly awaiting the "15 to 18 meter big" monsters. A first look at this can now be found in the first teaser.

"Monster Hunter": Director promises huge monster action
Monster fans can't complain about a lack of cinema supplies at this time. On May 20, 2021, the title-giving screen legends from the so-called MonsterVerse finally meet in "Godzilla Vs. Kong", before "Jurassic World 3: Dominion" is released in the cinemas on June 10, 2021 – including original stars Sam Neill, Laura Dern and Jeff Goldblum!
It remains to be seen when "Monster Hunter" will eventually appear. In April 2021 or maybe 2020...
