After several storms caused by the coronavirus pandemic, the filming of Mission: Impossible 7 has been re-launched and its writer and director, Christopher McQuarrie, has celebrated it with a spectacular image on his official Instagram profile. Will it be part of one of Tom Cruise's new risk sequences like Ethan Hunt? We'll find out soon enough!

In the photograph published by Christopher McQuarrie, you can read "Action... #MI7 Day 1". The premiere of Mission: Impossible 7 is signaled for November 19, 2021, while its direct continuation, Mission: Impossible 8, will debut in the halls, if there are no changes, on November 4, 2022.

A STAR-FILLED CAST
Apart from with Cruise as Ethan Hunt, the cast of both productions will be composed by Rebecca Ferguson as Ilsa Faust, Simon Pegg as Benji Dunn, Ving Rhames as Luther Stickell, Vanessa Kirby as the White Widow, and Hayley Atwell, Pom, Klementieff, Shea Whigham, Esai Morales, and Henry Czerny, among others - the latter will repeat as the Eugene Kittridge of Mission: Impossible.

While we don't have much information about the threats Hunt and his team will face - it remains to be seen whether Jeremy Renner, Angela Bassett, Paula Patton, or Maggie Q will join the cast - the idea is for McQuarrie to roll Mission: Impossible 7 and Mission: Impossible 8 one after the other.
