The streaming platform publishes the titles with the largest number of viewers in its first four weeks of broadcast.

Although it is easy to know what most users are watching on Netflix, thanks to the algorithm that rearranges the most popular titles, the streaming platform had not disclosed which are the films, of its own production, more views. Until today. Because the company has offered a top ten with data from its most viewed films in the first month of broadcast in the service. Among these, we find Extraction, Blind, and Spenser: Confidential lead the top 3, while in the top 10 we find The Irish or the Spanish The Platform.

Extraction, the action thriller starring Chris Hemsworth and directed by Sam Hargrave, premiered on April 24 of this year and is the highest-rated Netflix original film during its first four weeks of broadcast. In total, some 99 million viewers worldwide enjoyed the adrenaline rush, according to Netflix data collected by Bloomberg.

The thriller Blind, with Sandra Bullock, released on December 21, 2018, managed to gather 89 million people worldwide in its first month of broadcast; while Spenser: Confidential, by Peter Berg and with Mark Wahlberg, released on March 6, 2020, made figures of 85 million viewers worldwide.

The action thriller 6 in the shadow, by Michael Bay and with Ryan Reynolds (December 13, 2019) and the comedy Criminals at Sea, the new film that brought together Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston (released in June 2019) occupy the fourth and fifth positions in the top 10 most watched on Netflix, respectively. The first one made 83 million viewers and the second 73 million.

The Irishman, the latest mafia drama by Martin Scorsese, is in sixth place, with 64 million viewers in its first four weeks of broadcast, since it arrived on the streaming platform in November 2019.

Seventh place goes to Triple Frontier, another action tape, this time by J.C. Chandor and with Ben Affleck, Oscar Isaac, and Charlie Hunnam in their cast. It premiered in March 2019 and brought together 63 million people in its first month; the eighth, for the romantic comedy The Other Missy, seen by 59 million people since its premiere on May 8, 2020.

Finally, in ninth place, we find a Spanish production that is not a Netflix original film, The Platform, by Galder Gaztelu-Urrutia and with Ivan Massagué, Zorion Eguileor, and Antonia San Juan. The film was a sensation just when it arrived on the platform, in the first days of confinement due to the expansion of the coronavirus, in mid-March, and in its first four weeks it brought together 56 million people on Netflix.



The top 10 most watched on Netflix closes the romantic comedy The Perfect Date, with Noah Centineo, Camila Mendes, and Laura Marano, and with 48 million views in its first month on the platform since its premiere on April 12, 2019.
