The Grudge, directed by Nicolas Pesce and produced by Raimi, premieres on January 1, 2020.

The Grudge the new production of Sam Raimi (Underwater Hell), premieres on January 1, 2020. The film, a new installment of the franchise that originally started in Japan Takashi Shimizu, features Nicolas Pesce (Piercing) in the address, and at SensaCine -thanks to Sony Pictures- we exclusively bring you a report about the horror tape.

As Raimi tells the beginning of the video, The Grudge is based on a Japanese  The Grudge. "It is believed that when someone dies with a lot of hate, he leaves behind this  The Grudge, this frustrated desire for revenge and violence," says the producer. "The new  The Grudge is a stronger experience than the previous ones," Raimi explains.




The movie cast supports his words. "It's something totally different. With his own personality and his particular terror," says Demián Bichir (The Nun). "It's a horror movie. It's real terror," adds Lin Shaye (Insidious: The Last Key). "You're going to scream," warns John Cho (The Twilight Zone).
