Ant-Man 3:Good news for all "Ant-Man" fans: After the last uncertainty about whether the story of the smallest Marvel heroes in another solo adventure is continued, it is now clear: "Ant-Man 3" comes - with Peyton Reed as a director!

In "Avengers 4" Scott Lang aka Ant-Man (Paul Rudd) fought last in the all-important "Endgame" alongside his numerous superhero comrades. But this is not over for the quantum time traveler in the Marvel Cinematic Universe: According to The Hollywood Reporter, the ant-man returns to the big screen with "Ant-Man 3" in a third solo adventure.

A possible sequel was already in the room, but so far the planning for "Ant-Man 3" did not seem to be going well. Compared to other Marvel solo films "Ant-Man" and "Ant-Man And The Wasp" ran about just solid at the box office and also are already - with u. a. "The Eternals" - some other heroes in the starting blocks to get in the MCU to the train.

Nevertheless, there seems to have found a place for another "Ant-Man" film in the steadily growing universe under mastermind Kevin Feige. So fans can breathe a sigh of relief and, also, be pleased about the confirmed first personality...

PEYTON REED RETURNS AS DIRECTOR

Peyton Reed, who was also responsible for "Ant-Man" in 2015 and the sequel to "Ant-Man And The Wasp" (2018), once again takes the reins of the director's chair. Meanwhile, a scriptwriter has yet to be found and the filming is expected at the end of 2020 at the earliest.

Undoubtedly, however, it can be assumed that Paul Rudd returns in his role as Scott Lang and with him Evangeline Lillys Wasp at his side, even if officially no one has yet been confirmed from the cast.

We also assume that both Michael Douglas and Michelle Pfeiffer resume their roles as Hank Pym and Janet Van Dyne, as well as Michael Pena, David Dastmalchian and Tip 'T.I.' Harris as Scott's buddy Luis, Kurt, and Dave.

WHEN DOES "ANT-MAN 3" COME?

Phase 4 of the MCU will probably suspend Ant-Man. From "Black Widow" (theatrical release: April 30, 2020) to "The Eternals" (theatrical release: November 5, 2020) to "Thor: Love And Thunder" (theatrical release: October 28, 2021) and a few more adventures with both known as well as new Marvel faces, the next launches are already set.

Then, but then finally shrunk on the screen or even grown: With a theatrical release of "Ant-Man 3" is expected in 2022 or 2023.
