Is there a second end to "IT Chapter 2" where another loser member dies? This is apparently indicated by a post by Eddie actor James Ransone. We explain what's behind it.

Attention, this text contains spoiler to "IT 2"!

In the finale of "IT Chapter 2," there are some differences to the book by Stephen King: The fight against Pennywise (Bill SkarsgÄrd) is very different and two important characters are missing. But the end result is more or less the same: The losers manage to finally defeat the monster It and kill it and then turn their backs on Derry - except Eddie (James Ransone), who dies fighting the clown -Spider.

An Instagram post, however, now caused confusion on the Internet: James Ransone posted a picture of the "IT 2" set with a flyer on which apparently the death of played by Bill Hader Richard Tozier is mourned:

Of course, according to the post, some fans speculated that in another version of the movie, Richie should die in the finals and not Eddie, and some American sites also understood the picture. So, was there an alternative ending to "IT 2" where Richie dies instead of Eddie?

THERE IS NO ALTERNATE END

The answer: no. Of course, it is theoretically possible that director Andy Muschietti has actually turned another end, but then he would have the character development of two characters completely converted (namely Richie and Eddie), so we think that is very unlikely. Richie apparently finds the strength to stand by his death in Eddie's homosexuality, and if reversed, this development would be completely ripped off.

But most of all, the flyer featured on Ransone's post is from a scene in "IT 2": When adult Richie walks through Derry, he encounters Pennywise in a park again - and right in front of him, one of them pushes him Zombie version of the murdered in the opening scene Adrian Mellon (Xavier Dolan) exactly this piece of paper in the hand.

Of course, this is just one of the typical horror visions that belong to Pennywise's specialties. Already in the first part of the young Richie (Finn Wolfhard) found a note in the house on Neibolt Street, according to which he is allegedly missing. And this penny-wise trick may well have inspired Ransone to his prank.
