Now, the British actor has commented on the expected project and has set the bar for the clouds. Although for now we only know the enigmatic logo of fiction, with these new statements we can imagine what path the plot will take.

In an interview for Entertainment Weekly, Hiddleston has made it clear that he is prepared to continue exploring the antihero:

It's very, very exciting in many ways because it's the character you know, but in a context, you've never seen before

It is clear that the statements leave more than one fan biting their nails counting the days to understand the "context" referred to by the actor. In addition, everything suggests that the plot will be completely different from everything seen before with the character: "This is what is so exciting: there is much to explore that I have not yet explored."

The actor went to the San Diego Comic-Con held last month characterized by Loki to announce the creation of this series. In the Marvel panel of the famous convention, Hiddleston already gave clues about what it would be like:

The last thing that happened [to Loki] was that Hulk crushed him, therefore, there is still a lot of psychological evolution that still needs to happen

To which he adds: “It is one of the most exciting creative opportunities I have ever had. It's new territory, a new world, new challenges, and I really want to start ”

The famous fictional character appears in the American comics published by Marvel Comics and was created by acclaimed writer Stan Lee, screenwriter Larry Lieber, and cartoonist Jack Kirby. Loki is the adopted brother of superhero Thor and they often have an enmity relationship.

The new project will arrive at Disney + in the spring of 2021.
