After the success of the reboot with "Halloween Kills" and "Halloween Ends" equal to two sequels - but the end is far from it, believes at least "Halloween" creator John Carpenter.

That horror legends just can not be killed, have repeatedly shown film series such as "Friday the 13th" and "Nightmare On Elm Street" in recent decades. And even Michael Myers can not be so easy to retire: After the killer known from the "Halloween" series has been repeatedly considered dead for a short time, he is alive since the latest "Halloween" of 2018 as long ago. The Reboot recorded worldwide namely over $ 255 million, making it by far the most successful part of the entire series - and as long as the numbers remain so, the serial killer is probably a long future ahead ...

WITHOUT MOOS NIX LOT

"As long as there is money in there, I would not wait for an end," said "Halloween" creator and genre legend John Carpenter now at the Comic-Con in Philadelphia to the question of whether to end the series soon. After all, it has already been confirmed that the upcoming "Halloween Kills" will eventually be followed by "Halloween Ends" - a title that should be unmistakable. Actually.

At the latest in "Halloween: H20" from 1998, many already believed that it was once and for all with Michael Myers, after all, he is beheaded at the end of the film - and even he does not survive. But once again, there was a way to get the Halloween killer back. That the hitherto last advertised movie is titled "Halloween Ends" does not mean anything. There are always ways and means in the horror genre.

Anyway, Carpenter is pleased about the development of the series, probably not least, because given the success also a little pocket money jumps out for him. "[Jason Blum] convinced me that it's better to get my asses off and help out with them - no-one has asked me before," said Carpenter, who is thrilled to be a fan of the 2018 film, that his Michael is currently doing so well,

"HALLOWEEN KILLS" AND "HALLOWEEN ENDS"

It is unclear, however, what awaits us in the two upcoming films. But, as we all know, Laurie Strode actress Jamie Lee Curtis will come back once more, as will director David Gordon Green, who will again co-write the screenplays with Danny McBride. "Halloween Kills" will be released on October 15, 2020, followed by "Halloween Ends" on October 14, 2021. What could follow afterward is still completely unclear. But for Danny McBride, there's no doubt that Michael will stay with us for even longer: "I'm sure in ten years there's going to be a new group of morons who think they know the answer, what with Michael Myers next should be hired ".
