He joins with other misses of the actress as not knowing what came out in Spider-Man: Homecoming.

Kevin Feige has recently had an interview with Empire in which he has commented, among other things, that Gwyneth Paltrow did not know that Samuel L. Jackson was the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

If you have not seen Avengers: Endgame, we recommend that you do not continue reading, since you will find spoilers of the tape.

During the Feige interview, the director revealed that Tony Stark's funeral was recorded in October 2017, the day they took the photo of the tenth anniversary of the MCU.

That's why we took the picture then because we had everyone there. And it was amazing to have all those actors there, and it's very solemn in the movie, because they're all great actors, it's very effective. That day was crazy.

When recording that scene in 2017, Stark's funeral was recorded before Infinity War, Black Panther, Captain Marvel, and Ant-Man and the Wasp were released, so some cast members were surprised to see that certain actors had attached to the MCU.

Tom Holland approached me and asked: "Is it, Michelle Pfeiffer? What's going on?"

And Gwyneth Paltrow was asking why Samuel L. Jackson was and the other actors said, "What are you talking about? It's Nick Fury! You've been in movies with him." It was really something special.

It is not the first time that Paltrow forgets or ignores details of the MCU, a few weeks ago, the actress commented that she did not know that she was going out in Spider-Man: Homecoming and according to Sebastian Stan, the actor who plays Bucky Barnes, Paltrow forgot several times I knew him.
